Solution 1: Use Default User Library Location

RECOMMENDED

This ensures automatic Studiocamp upgrades, while keeping your current library untouched. You can always switch back to later!

  1. Open Ableton Live → Live > Settings (⌘ + ,)

  2. Go to Library → Click Browse next to Location of User Library

  3. Browse to: / Users / YourUsername / Music / Ableton

    → Select Ableton folder

    → Press Open

  4. Verify that Location of User Library displays as:

    / Users / YourUsername / Music / Ableton / User Library

  5. Restart Ableton Live (CMD + Q, then reopen)

DONE Studiocamp should now be listed as a Control Surface in Ableton Live

Solution 2: Copy Control Surface Files to Your Current User Library

If you want to keep your current User Library, copy the Studiocamp Remote Scripts manually.

🔹 Backup your User Library first (recommended).

  1. In Finder, Copy the Remote Scripts folder from the default User Library

  2. Paste (CMD + V) the Remote Scripts into your current User Library

💡 To see where your current User Library is located Live > Settings > Library

  3. Restart Ableton Live (CMD + Q, then reopen) ✅ Done
