Solution 1: Use Default User Library Location
RECOMMENDED ✅
This ensures automatic Studiocamp upgrades, while keeping your current library untouched. You can always switch back to later!
Open Ableton Live → Live > Settings (⌘ + ,)
Go to Library → Click Browse next to Location of User Library
Browse to: / Users / YourUsername / Music / Ableton
→ Select Ableton folder
→ Press Open
Verify that Location of User Library displays as:
/ Users / YourUsername / Music / Ableton / User Library ✅
Restart Ableton Live (CMD + Q, then reopen)
DONE ✅ Studiocamp should now be listed as a Control Surface in Ableton Live
Solution 2: Copy Control Surface Files to Your Current User Library
If you want to keep your current User Library, copy the Studiocamp Remote Scripts manually.
🔹 Backup your User Library first (recommended).
In Finder, Copy the Remote Scripts folder from the default User Library
Paste (CMD + V) the Remote Scripts into your current User Library
💡 To see where your current User Library is located → Live > Settings > Library
Restart Ableton Live (CMD + Q, then reopen) → ✅ Done
